Full Job Description

COMPANY

Restpadd is a privately held company with two Psychiatric Health Facilities operating in Redding, CA and Red Bluff, CA. Restpadd is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as Director of Finance, headquartered in Redding, CA. This person will lead the accounting and finance functions in support of the two facilities. This individual is a key member of the operating team. Reports to the Executive Director.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including operational and financial analysis.
Responsible for the accounting and finance processes and procedures and ensuring an effective internal control environment is maintained.
Cash Management within the two operating units and distributions to Owner.
Responsible for preparing and providing information to outside accountant for preparation of income tax returns.
Overall responsibility for payroll, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, business insurance, monthly billings of county clients and reconciliation of accounts, collections of receivables, county contracts, bank relationships, and prepares monthly census data reports. May occasionally interact and meet with company owner.

QUALIFICATIONS

A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is preferred. Five years of progressively responsible financial and accounting experience. Must be familiar with QuickBooks. Experience as a VP or Controller (or close equivalent) in the service industry is preferred. Experience with a public accounting firm is a plus.

The Director of Finance will be expected to have the following proven abilities or to quickly demonstrate them:

Capable of being entrepreneurial balanced with disciplined professional practice capabilities, operations partnering, administrative disciplines, business processes and controls, high integrity, and good judgement.
Has developed business planning and forecasting, analytical and business decision making skills.
A leader capable of building and maintaining a well-functioning accounting and finance team.
Able to contribute to risk management, administration, accounting, and reporting.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must pass a physical exam, drug screen, and have an annual TB test.

OTHER:

Criminal Background Clearance by DOJ and FBI is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
