The David Nicklas Organ Donor Awareness foundation is a Grand Prairie based foundation that manages multiple Multi-family apartment communities in Grand Prairie. The Foundation began in 1995 after Rodney DeBaun received a life saving Heart Transplant from David Nicklas. The Nicklas Foundation was founded by Rodney and Isibelle DeBaun to honor the memory of David Nicklas. The Nicklas Foundation provides free housing to those awaiting a life saving organ donation, but live too far from a transplant hospital. To date, we have helped nearly 100 families from 15 states, with transplant patients as young as 4 months old and up to 72 years of age.
We are currently seeking a Lease Up Specialist to join our team at one of our 55+ apartment communities in Grand Prairie, TX at a lease up property.
The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 4 years experience in sales and has a positive attitude with an energetic personality. Our vision of the successful candidate is someone who is personable, sales driven and motivated. We are offering very lucrative lease up bonuses.
The following items are standard duties and required on an ongoing basis from our Leasing Specialist.
- Lease up to obtain 95% occupancy.
- Ensure compliance with company policies regarding accurate guest card entry into property management software, follow up with leads, quarterly shop performance and online ads.
- Strive for the highest closing ratio while surpassing company minimum requirements.
- Comply with all company policies regarding keeping of files and follow Fair Housing Laws.
- Abide by and enforce the company's rental criteria and community rules.
- Full and complete compliance with the Standards of Ethics and Standards of Conduct as set forth in the company handbook, including company banking policy and rent collections.
The following items are required job skills expected of all Leasing consultant applicants:

- Responsible to oversee leasing of the community.
- Maintain constant and detailed knowledge of market conditions and
competition in the surrounding communities to better maximize rents.
