We are seeking an enthusiastic go-getter who can help us grow a program! Our Health Buddies pairs volunteers with people with chronic health conditions. The Health Buddy and their client share phone calls for 12 weeks to lessen their anxiety and make them feel more upbeat about their current situation. It's a win-win-win. The client feels supported by their new buddy, the volunteer feels useful and needed, and all of this with your help!

Job Type: Full-time
Hybrid work schedule available - working 2-3 days from office and/or partner sites, and 2-3 days from home/remote location.
MAJOR DUTIES:
- Take ownership and personal responsibility for program objectives, compliance, and completion of all related program contracts and commitments.
- Attain all milestones of reporting, recruitment, engagement, recognition, outcomes, output, the collaboration required by program contracts and commitments.
- Provide daily operational support to ensure the satisfaction, success, and retention of the volunteers, clients, and partners.
- Perform data entry and database management in our database as directed by Manager/Coordinator including, but not limited to adding volunteer, adding clients to the waiting list, and other information, as needed.
- Maintain proper records and documentation (paper and electronic) in accordance with agency, contract, funding, and program requirements.
- Coordinate and collaborate within strict timelines with other agency departments. Examples include: accounting (for billing, payroll, etc.), grant/donor relations (for stories, testimonials, outcomes, etc.).
- Provide programmatic assistance as designated by Manager/Coordinator, such as assisting to meet internal and external deadlines and track project/program performance that may include special projects, program goals, and client’s matters.
- Conduct client satisfaction surveys through the duration of the program and once completed.
- Monitor and manage volunteer service schedules including time tracking and approval.
- Provide support to program staff by preparing, packing, and sending materials to volunteers and clients as needed.
- Perform other duties as applicable to the job.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma and at least 1 years’ experience in administrative support preferably with non-profit agencies with experience in human service delivery (dealing with people)
- Medical training and/or knowledge of disease process or healthcare experience is a PLUS
- Volunteer management experience or combination of education and/or experience is a PLUS
- Bilingual in Spanish is a PLUS
- Highly proficient in MS Office particularly Excel, Word & PowerPoint; Zoom; Internet browsing and research; and email-communication
- Database experience is a PLUS
- Comfortable with public speaking and conducting trainings and presentations, as required
- Demonstrate EXCELLENT communication skills to perform job responsibilities including listening, written, verbal, and information technology skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- The ability to organize and work independently, as well as in a team environment
Additional Requirements:
Must have a valid driver’s license and pass driver’s license screening, have reliable transportation to/from work, as well as to/from dynamic worksites, and pass a Level II Background Screening. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, see, talk, and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel (including frequent use of manual dexterity for keyboarding); and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
