**Job Title:** Dental Assistant
**Overview:**
Join our reputable dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients in the Flower Mound area. We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to become a valuable member of our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the doctor and the front desk coordinator to ensure the highest quality of patient care and support a positive and welcoming environment.
Required skillsets for this position: 1) high level of competency in cord packing, temp crown and digital scan, 2) experienced in managing the back side of the office. The ideal candidate should be hardworking, have a friendly manner and reliable character. This is a part-time position Tue-Thurs (3 days/week). Business hours: 10am-7pm. Pay rate: $ 22-25/hr.

**Responsibilities:**
- Assist dentist during procedures by handing instruments and materials
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Take and develop X-rays as
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with documentation
- Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and postoperative care instructions
- Perform basic lab tasks such as pouring models and fabricating suck-down matrix
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment
- Collaborate with the FD coordinator to schedule appointments and handle patient inquiries
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience working as a Dental Assistant
- Proficiency in using Eaglesoft or similar dental software systems
- Knowledge of dental procedures including endodontics, pediatrics, and imaging
- Familiarity with dental coding, insurance claims processing, and billing procedures
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols and sterilization techniques
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with patients in a caring manner
- Certification in X-Ray technology
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
