We are a fun and energetic team specializing in interventional pain management. We are in search of a part-time CRNA (1-3 days/week) to assist us during our designated procedure days. There will be NO night, weekend, or on-call shifts. We prioritize patient safety above all else and are committed to delivering high-quality, comfortable, and safe patient care.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) will be responsible for administering anesthesia and anesthesia-related care to patients before, during, and directly following their procedures. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with our team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing interventional pain management procedures.
- Perform pre-anesthetic patient assessment and evaluation.
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary during procedures.
- Manage airways and assist with intubation and extubation procedures.
- Provide pre-anesthetic and post-anesthetic care and education to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with our team to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate anesthesia records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Demonstrate patient-centered/patient-valued behaviors at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of a Nurse Anesthesia Program accredited by the Council of Nurse Anesthesia (COA) or its predecessor.
- Current, valid RN license or valid Compact RN license.
- Current license or temporary authorization as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with authorization to practice as a CRNA by the Texas Board of Nursing.
- Current Healthcare Provider CPR (CPR-HP) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support Systems (ACLS) certification.
- Valid national certification as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
