We are currently seeking STELLAR Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT) for Residential Treatment in Scottsdale! These techs will assist the Clinical team in and providing support to members with complex, co-occurring disorders. BHTs will act as role models for positive interpersonal relationships, life skills, and setting appropriate boundaries. BHTs will move between two locations within Scottsdale for scheduled programming and social outings. BHTs will use their own vehicles to travel between locations and may be required to transport clients. Mileage will be paid!
Pay Rate: $20/hr
Available Shifts: Friday - Sunday Options, 1030 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.

Requirements:
- Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalent (proof of education will be requested)
- Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
- CPR Certification
- Negative TB Test Results
- Valid State of Arizona Drivers License and Proof of Car Insurance
- Clean MVR
- Background Check AND 10 Panel Drug Screen
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the effective operation of milieu-related activities ensuring client safety and participation, as well as supporting clients in adhering to the program and housing guidelines and expectations.
- Support facilitators with milieu related meetings including enforcement of milieu rules and structure and supporting clients in adhering to the program expectations and responsibilities in treatment.
- Complete timely shift reports that convey clear and concise statements summarizing client’s feelings, presentation and response in clinically significant encounters.
- Remain updated on clients’ treatment plans and clinical structures and support adherence to
- those structures during 1:1 shifts, house/room checks, and any milieu interactions, community outings, etc.
- Assist clients in completion of counseling assignments and appointments.
- Assist clients with self-administration of medication and document accordingly.
- Provide client transportation and support, as needed, to medical appointments, outside recovery meetings, grocery shopping trips, recreational outings and other appointments, as indicated.
- Assist with admissions and discharges, including preparing client rooms, conducting bag searches, orienting new clients to the program and ensuring all related documentation is complete and accurate.
- Reports any immediate safety hazards to appropriate supervisory personnel or maintenance personnel.
- Oversee clients’ self-administration of medication and report any concerns to the team.
- Participate in training and meet licensure expectations related to training.
- Conduct UA testing as needed.
- Be on an on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed.
- Attending assigned weekly administrative, clinical, and training meetings.
- Ensure that housing policy and procedures related to client and environment safety are conducted as scheduled and in accordance with policy and procedure.
- Ensure house supplies are maintained.
- Provide timely and exceptional communication with interdisciplinary team regarding client related concerns, housing concerns, and other information as deemed necessary.
- Fully understand and maintain policies regarding professional ethics, including appropriate boundaries and patient confidentiality; monitor documents according to company and HIPAA policies.
- Professionally, ethically, and compassionately relates to clients, families, referral sources and staff.
- Meet timeliness expectations of completing work as scheduled, demonstrating self-paced performance and adjusting priorities as needed.
- Meet quality expectations of accuracy, completeness, and responsiveness to feedback.
- Write clear and concise statements summarizing client’s feelings, presentation and response in clinically significant encounters.
- Model appropriate interpersonal relationships, emotional regulation, and boundaries.
- Model and reinforce positive behaviors of clients, and promote social interaction by conversing with them, participating in activities with them, etc.
- Reports any immediate safety hazards to appropriate supervisory personnel or maintenance personnel.
- Report resident abuse and neglect.
- Attend and participate in assigned and required trainings, supervisions, and weekly meetings.
- Ability to demonstrate awareness and respect for cultural, lifestyle, age, gender, and sexual orientation diversities of clients and staff; apply knowledge of age, gender, and multi-cultural counseling skills.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
