The PR Senior Account Executive is an experienced PR practitioner with a command of strategic communications, media relations and messaging. Crisis communications experience is a plus. Further, the successful candidate must be comfortable with change, learning on the fly and representing the organization in public settings.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The PR Senior Account Executive provides overall support to the public relations and creative staff. This position will contribute to the overall success of the image of the organization and its clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and lead the execution of execution of strategic communication, media, social media and PR plans for KQ clients
- PR Copywriting
- Media management
- Knowledge of and experience in how to use research to develop communications plans
- Supervision of junior staff as necessary (Account Executives)
- Staying current on PR and client industry news
- Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, Adobe Suites, and Google Documents
- Experience with content management systems and workflow and collaboration tools
- PR Copywriting experience (newsletters, op-eds, etc.)
- Knowledge of research strategies to develop communications plans
- Ability to create and execute strategic communications plans
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects, details and deadlines simultaneously
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work cooperatively with staff and colleagues
- Demonstrate clear, courteous and professional manner when dealing with the public
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively
- Approach to work should be proactive with the ability to effectively prioritize work
- In-depth understanding of the company's strategy and direction for the future
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field, plus up to 5 years of relevant experience for a total of 7 years education and experience.
Physical Requirements and Working Environment:
- Physical Demands: Requires sedentary work involving standing or walking for brief periods, ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; and some dexterity in operating office equipment.
- Unavoidable Hazards: The position is exposed to no unusual environmental hazards.
- Working Outside: The position may require working outdoors regardless of weather for client events.
- Travel: Access to reliable and insured transportation for travel to client meetings, events, etc.
- Sensory (ADA) Requirements: The position requires normal visual acuity and field of vision, hearing, writing, and speaking abilities.

SALARY COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
