Benefits Specialist
Location: Henderson, In office, onsite only, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Primary Responsibilities Include
- Benefit Administration: Enrollments, Terminations, Qualifying Events, Payroll Adjustments, Reconciliations, Reporting and Bill Payments.
- ACA: Keep track of ACA for ALE’s, track eligibility and set-up ACA measurement and plan information utilizing HCMS software.
- Make sure the clients are tracking their enrolled employees throughout the year.
- Build medical plans for ACA reporting and attach employees to plans.
- Promote Services to groups over 50 each year that have not signed up for ACA services.
- Complete 1095’s annually.
- Full service COBRA Administration.
- Keep track of and process renewals, open enrollments, plan rate changes and updates.
- Maintain basic compliance education as needed, for benefits administration, ACA reporting and COBRA to stay up to date with the ever changing laws and regulations.
- Will be required to meet strict deadlines and exercise outstanding initiative and follow through.
- Will be working directly, with a Sr. Benefits Specialist.
- Handles high volume of correspondence by telephone, email and fax while maintaining both composure under stress and keeping to the utmost of professional standards.
Position Requirements
- Must have Benefits Administration experience and be familiar with Cafeteria 125 plan administration.
- Service Bureau or Brokerage experience preferred, but not required.
- ACA and COBRA Administration experience highly valued.
- Should be familiar with various benefits deductions as they relate to company payroll and be able to reconcile those deductions against carrier billings.
- Experience working with isolved or Tabulera highly valued, but not required.
- Must consistently maintain EXCELLENT customer service attitude and professionalism.
- Must display an ability to work efficiently and accurately with IMPECCABLE attention to detail.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
