The candidate will need to be a self starter and stay ahead of the roofing competition. Thermal-Tec Multi-Ply Roofing has been an industry leader in the commercial & industrial roofing industry the for over 40 years. Our clients range from medium size enterprises up to Fortune 100 companies.
Our MR Multi-Ply Roof System offers a cost effective solution to help business’s stay ahead of the curve without having to cause an interruption in production, save money by not having to do a total replacement, and also rejuvenate the roof to the original structural integrity all while producing a leak free work space.
Our Sales Executive's are expected to fill a pipeline with potential sales, closing the sales as well as account management for previous customers to ensure satisfaction. The typical Sales Exec will be traveling throughout the week in their assigned territory with either scheduled appointments or prospecting for new clients when in a targeted area. We have a variety of lead support systems set in place to make sure our rep is getting in front of as many clients as possible.
Preferred Candidates will have:
- Minimum of 5 years of successful outside sales experience
- Previous construction or industrial manufacturing sales experience is preferred
- Have experience working with CRM applications or the ability to learn (eg. Salesforce, MS Dynamics, Sugar, SalesLogix, NetSuite, Act!, Goldmine, etc.) to track and drive sales activity
- Ability to overcome objections to advance the sale and not just take orders
- Must have a determined drive to sell and the ability to problem-solve
- Strong organizational skills while being self motivated
- Able to travel daily in the assigned territory (including overnight stays) as required
- Commercial roofing sales experience and/or working knowledge of pre-engineered metal buildings is a major plus!
