Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunity
Recovery Centers of America at Indianapolis is currently looking for Registered Nurses to join our team!
As a Registered Nurse, you will…
- Conduct intake assessments through interviews with patients and relatives to gather case history.
- Plan and provides nursing care for patients.
- Make nursing diagnosis of the medical status of patients and recommends treatment options.
- Consult with medical and other behavioral healthcare staff in designing appropriate treatment plans for clients.
- Administer and notes reactions to psychotropic drugs and other medications.
- Arrange further medical attention when necessary.
Job Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of Indianapolis (or the ability to get licensed)
- Previous experience working in behavioral health or addiction is preferred, but not required
- Ability to read and interpret written information; write clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar.
- Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification responds well to questions; demonstrates group presentation skills; and participates in meetings.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; thorough knowledge of facility proprietary systems.
- A former patient may not be hired at the same location where they were treated until a minimum of one year has elapsed since the completion of their treatment at that location. Former patients may be considered for employment at locations within RCA other than where they were treated within a year after treatment.
