HomeFree-USA (HFUSA) is an energetic, production-oriented, community-focused nonprofit housing counseling organization. We build the foundation to close the wealth gap through our 5 core programs –- homeownership guidance, small business growth, housing development, government outreach, and HBCU workforce development.
We are looking to hire a results-driven Executive Assistant. This team member is responsible for helping HomeFree-USA’s Chief Operating Officer stay organized, ahead of schedule, and execute projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage scheduling
- Transcribe, review, and send communications
- Prepare for in-person and virtual meetings, including gathering documents and logistics
- Attend meetings, take notes, and implement action items
- Coordinate and help to execute projects on behalf of the COO
- Prioritize emails and respond as needed
- Coordinate travel arrangements
- Maintain essential records
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as an executive assistant
- Minimum 1 year experience in project management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management
- Detail oriented and organized
- Competent researcher
- Flexible and can easily adapt to change
- Tech savvy
- Positive, warm, and welcoming personality
- A lifelong learner
