Position Description:
Our Retail team is the face of the Bank, focused on building quality relationships and protecting the financial security of our clients. Wages start at $18-21 per hour based on experience.

Job Responsibilities:
Provides teller services to clients. Assists with checkbook balancing for clients
Processes credit card cash advances, travelers checks, cashiers checks, money orders, savings bonds, and similar transactions
Verifies transactions. Monitors deposit amounts and examines documents for endorsement and negotiability. Detects and resolves discrepancies promptly.
Opens and closes computer terminal accounts daily. Processes assigned cash and transactions and balances at end of day
Balances teller drawer daily
Opens all types of checking and savings accounts, including Certificates of Deposits and IRAs
Cross sells products and services of the bank by listening to customer needs
Ensures that customers requests and questions are promptly resolved in person and via telephone
Receives and processes new customer accounts and performs changes to existing accounts
Manages safety deposit boxes, processes payments, new set up and closures. Provides access to boxes to customers and maintain all required paperwork
Establishes and maintains effective business and working relations with external customers and company personnel and management
Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
High School Graduate or GED required; Associates or undergraduate degree in finance preferred
One to two years of previous banking experience and customer service preferred
Experience with basic office equipment, 10-key
Microsoft Office programs, Jack Henry, DepositPro, Deluxe check systems
Bilingual and fluent in both Spanish and English preferred
Strong customer service abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good sales and motivational skills
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Able to multi-task and make quick decisions
Dependable, detail-oriented and organized
Good mathematical skills
Detail oriented
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Able to view a computer screen for long periods of time
Must be able to speak and listen clearly both in person and on the phone
Fine visual acuity to read for accuracy
This job may require lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, 10 pounds frequently
