Applied Composites (AC) is seeking a PLY Cutting Technician 1 who operate ply cutting equipment, freezer software, and handle material kitting for Laminating Department

Job Accountabilities:
- Create ply cut material kits in compliance to Engineering data and associated quality requirements
- Ensure proper material alignment and setup
- Able to Operate Ply Cutting machinery (Gerber, Eastman, Pathfinder)
- Follow Quality documents such as the Traveler, Build Manual and work instruction creating a material kit to specifications
- Allocate labor to correct job via ERP system
- Material Loading & Unloading to ensure high quality laminate kits are created and stored appropriately for use by Laminating Technicians
- Manage material including shelf life and out of temperature events
- Follow company cleanroom policies and procedures
- Maintain clean, safe and operate ply cutting tables and software
- Undertake work within the capabilities you are certified to or as directed by your manager
- Work to be done in compliance with Government, Customer and Regulatory Bodies
- Execute in accordance with company values

Job Specifications:
- Education: *A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations
Years’ Experience: Minimum two years on the job experience as a Laminating Technician or related technical role
- Proven ability to plan and direct technical efforts to meet quality targets
- Understand Basic Math
- Strong Attention to detail
- Detail oriented, and basic computer usage including the ACE ERP system, and email
- Ability to adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities
- Ability to work independently and interface with cross-functional disciplines; using excellent interpersonal skills to drive tasks to completion
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Must be able to be on feet for up to 8hrs
- Strong Organizational skills
- Self-motivated with problem solving and decision-making skills
