We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Escort patients to exam rooms
- Vitals, Medication orders and prior authorizations, request results, imaging, records, and any other necessary information to help the provides.
- Assist clinicians with office visits, telemed visits, refill requests, and overall patient communication
- Assist with pain procedures with fluoroscopy within on-site procedure room
- Documentation of all previous items within the appropriate systems
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare as an MA or CMA (or equivalent)
- Familiarity with fluoroscopy/C-Arm is preferred
- Familiarity with medical billing procedures for documentation
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system for documentation, follow-up, results, patient contact, etc.
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Spanish/English speaking is required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
