Overview:
As an Office Coordinator at Forrest Solutions, your role is integral to ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our facilities, contributing to a safe, clean, and productive environment for all employees and visitors.
Pay rate: $20-$21/hr
Location: Washington DC
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of all common areas, including reception, conference rooms, and break areas, to uphold a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
- Regularly inspect the office space to identify any areas in need of cleaning, repair, or maintenance, and coordinate with appropriate personnel to address issues promptly.
- Monitor and replenish supplies such as coffee, snacks, and office supplies to ensure availability for staff and visitors.
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, greeting them warmly and directing them to the appropriate area or personnel.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating client meetings, ensuring that meeting rooms are prepared with necessary materials and technology.
- Provide exceptional customer service by anticipating and addressing the needs of clients and visitors in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor access to the office space, ensuring that only authorized individuals enter restricted areas.
- Collaborate with security personnel or building management to address any security concerns or incidents.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as answering phones, handling mail and deliveries, and coordinating office events or functions.
- Maintain accurate records of office-related expenses, inventory, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with other administrative staff and departments to support overall office operations and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- MUST have an impeccable eye for detail and be an independent, self starter
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and applications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of client information.
- Pleasant demeanor with a positive attitude and ability to build relationships.
