Job description
Looking for a skilled maintenance worker who specialized in electrical, mechanical, and HVAC for our manufacturing plant, located on NW side of Indianapolis, IN.
Key Responsibilities:
· Electrical – Cable tray and running wiring end data cables.
· Qualified candidates will have maintenance experience within a manufacturing setting and must have high voltage electrical 480V and PLC experience
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Background in manufacturing
· Previous work experience in electrical, mechanical, HVAC
· Able to effectively communicate
· Ability to successfully multitask in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to reach overhead, squat, and bend at the waist
· Upload/unpack/instillation of machinery and equipment
· Relocation of machinery and equipment.
· Consulting with contractors
Your Skills and Experience
· Ideally have a proven track record with 5 - 10 years of working experience in executing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance.
· Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain all equipment according to safety, preventative maintenance schedule and existing equipment protocol including building maintenance
· Perform various duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment
· Conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance service
· Provides emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
· Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs
· Performs mechanic skills including but not limited to, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines
· Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
· Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust
· Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
· Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
· May perform other duties as assigned
