Senior Account Executive (VOIP)
Join a fast-growing B2B customer-centric network management company squarely focused on delivering networking solutions. Mako offers network security solutions and VOIP hosted services. Mako Networks voice services puts communications at the heart of our business. We build technology that allows people to connect anytime, while anywhere in the world. Mako Networks is looking for a Senior Account Executive (SAE) that has a successful track record selling SaaS solutions. You will be asked to drive new sales to SMB and enterprise accounts.
You will need to understand the customer's communications needs and design solutions to meet those business requirements.
- You’ll become the resident expert on Mako Networks voice services and will sell our cloud UC/CC communications solutions to business customers.
- Prospect new businesses and agents to build out qualified leads.
- You will develop a strong understanding of key differentiators, internal and external systems, sales methodologies, and processes.
- Close deals. You will be involved with all aspects of deals including price and term negotiations management of the entire sales cycle, to drive revenue throughout North America.
- Handle ongoing partner support. Establish and maintain strong relationships with channel partners.
Job Description:
Prospect and network to find new sales opportunities.
Review a customer’s requirements, propose solutions and sell.
Ongoing support of existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and add services.
Use the sales tools for generating proposals, managing sales funnel, and managing contacts.
Required Skills:
- Two years of successful B2B selling.
- Experience working with Microsoft tools including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
Preferred Skills:
- Two years of voice services sales including network services and/or hosted PBX services.
- Experience working with a CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
- An understanding of VOIP services.
- An understanding of network equipment including firewalls, switches, access points.
Compensation will be a combination of salary and commissions. The salary ($50-70K) will be based on candidates experience. Commissions are based on sales and are in addition to base salary.
The job will be predominately remote, but employees need to be in the office during training and meetings as needed. This is a Chicago Metro position.
