The Aerospace and Defense Business Development Sales Account Manager will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities within the aerospace and defense markets. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong sales background and a deep understanding of the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve business growth and market expansion in the aerospace and defense sector.
- Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities through research, networking, and market analysis.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, industry partners, and government agencies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
- Provide exceptional customer service to existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions to inform business development strategies.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and proposals to clients and senior management.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2-5 years of sales experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of the aerospace and defense market, including key players, industry trends, and regulatory environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and motivation.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
