About the Role:
CrowdStrike Falcon Host is a two-component security product. One component is a “sensor”: a driver installed on client machines that observes system activity and recognizes malicious behavior, then provides on-box prevention capability and remote telemetry to the Falcon Host cloud. The sensor processes thousands of events per second to provide deep visibility into operations on the endpoint, and performs rich correlation and computation to identify malicious events and blocks malicious activity.
The cloud component aggregates sensor telemetry for each customer’s network, correlates malicious behavior across multiple machines, and presents our customers’ operations teams with a prioritized summary of the threats detected in their environments.
We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to manage the Windows Sensor engineering team within our growing Endpoint Security product group. In this role, you’ll work closely with the team to define and deliver on our product roadmap as well as coordinate and collaborate with other product groups within the company on Windows sensor related architecture, releases, support, and development best practices.
As part of the cross-functional Endpoint Security Product group, you’ll work alongside your team to design, enhance, and build numerous customer facing features within our CrowdStrike Falcon product line including multiple static analysis based detection and prevention capabilities, customer configured behavioral detections (custom IOAs), automated remediation, firewall management, and USB device control.
We’re a remote-first workplace that leverages team productivity tools like Slack, Zoom, and Jira for day-to-day communication. Travel for face-to-face meetings is occasionally required and is typically used as an effective way to kick-off new projects or collaborate when working on larger initiatives.
