Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
Duties:
- Perform administrative and office support activities for the CEO
- Assist in resolving any administrative problems
-Must know Excel - tracking costs, credit and returns in Excel databases
-Reviewing invoice for accuracy - some bookkeeping experience a plus.
-Follow up on tasks assigned to other employees for the CEO
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
- Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, reports, and other correspondence
- Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; evaluating new office products; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system
- Coordinate office procedures
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Computer literacy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice-to-Have Skills:
-Excellent phone manners and skills
- Calendar management
- Proofreading skills
This is a paid position with opportunities for growth within the company.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.46 - $23.44 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
