Job Summary:
As an Electrical Foreman, you will oversee and coordinate the work of electricians and other technicians on construction projects. Your leadership will ensure electrical installations are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety and code regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and evaluate the work of electricians and technicians on various projects.
- Ensure compliance with national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to determine the layout of electrical systems and to ensure proper installation.
- Coordinate with project managers, other trades, and contractors to ensure efficient project completion.
- Monitor project progress.
- Conduct safety meetings and enforce safety protocols among crew members.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and provide guidance on repairs and maintenance.
- Train and mentor apprentices and new hires in electrical practices and company procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Foreman or similar supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and codes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documents.
- Proficient in safety regulations and risk management.
- Familiarity with electrical project management software is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
