Executive Assistant
Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, Arabic language skills a plus.
- Extremely detail-oriented, organized, and accurate.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime.
- A proactive, flexible, self-starter who has strong problem solving, social, and interpersonal skills. Must be able to set and manage schedules for themselves and their executive.
- Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills are required.
- The ability to set and achieve goals, manage priorities, and juggle multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously is critical.
- This candidate must have a professional, confident, and calm demeanor and must be able to create and maintain strong relationships.
- The use of discretion and the maintenance of confidentiality is required.
- Experience in open-source research, briefing of executives, and executive engagement plans.
- Must be comfortable drafting official correspondence and engaging with senior military leadership.
- Experience in Department of Defense or Congress a plus. Understanding of Department of Defense or Congress required.
Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for monitoring news updates and briefing the Diplomat on key defense or foreign policy information relevant to the country.
- Will act as a liaison in support of the Diplomat’s communications with the Department of Defense, Private Sector, NGOs, and Congress.
- Will create briefings, prepare biographies, and suggest engagement plans regularly for the Diplomat and in advance of senior military official visits to the United States.
- Will be responsible for travel and visit logistics for Diplomat and visiting delegations.
- Responsible for maintaining the schedule of the Diplomat and organization of meetings.
- Responsible for general office management in support of needs of the team or Diplomat.
- Responsible for leading the office Fellowship program and coordinating with external team members to manage a lecture series for the office.
- Will often be responsible for maintaining meeting minutes and tracking completion of action items both internally and externally.
- Will assist the diplomat as needed with multiple priorities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
