Retail Associate
We've done our best to outline what your day-to-day will look like, but since we're a small team, every person is essential. Now and then, support may be needed in other departments. This role calls for a blend of flexibility and consistency. Here, at Odin Parker, we help each other out, creating a supportive atmosphere for everyone.
- Excessive tardiness or absences are considered unacceptable job performance.
- Hours vary during the holiday season. Fashion Island has extended mandatory hours that are not within our control to modify.
- Initial interviews will be completed through Indeed Video or take place at Fashion Island, with a follow-up interview in Rancho Mission Viejo.
- Potential employee will start a temporary trial period lasting 1-3 months. Based on performance, there will be an opportunity for a permanent position. This trial allows both parties to assess the fit.
A Sales Associate enhances sales by delivering an authentic customer experience to each individual.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand Experience
- Acts as a brand representative reflective of the company values
- Leads by example in upholding a service culture that demonstrates extraordinary service to cultivate an environment where all customers feel welcome, heard and valued
- Initiates conversation, shares advice and product knowledge to interact with the customer in a personalized way
- Utilizes technology to be well-informed on company priorities and promotions in-store and online
Teamwork + Communication
- Contributes to the store by being positive, respectful, and helpful to others
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and leadership, actively participating in idea sharing and supporting the team's needs.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn, adapt, and embrace change, being open to exploring innovative approaches.
Visual + Business Operations
- Uphold Odin Parker's visual and operational standards while keeping the focus on the customer.
- Assist in the shipment process to gain insights into new products and the existing inventory
- Adhere to the store's safety protocols, maintain inventory accuracy, minimize product loss, and uphold all company policies and procedures to enhance store profitability.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience in providing exceptional customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to accommodate varying work hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the store's operational needs.
Dress Code:
We request staff members to incorporate the store's brand colors in their clothing or accessories, fostering a sense of unity and professionalism. To maintain brand consistency, please refrain from wearing clothing with logos, slogans, or overt branding.
