Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly and organized Dance Studio Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about dance and eager to support the day-to-day operations of our studio. This position involves administrative duties, assisting instructors, and ensuring a positive experience for our students and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support:
- Greet and assist students, parents, and visitors as they arrive at the studio.
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle inquiries regarding classes, schedules, and events.
- Manage class registrations, payments, and attendance records using our studio management software.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area and studio spaces.
- Class Assistance:
- Assist dance instructors with class setup, including preparing music, props, and other materials.
- Provide support during classes, helping with demonstrations and ensuring students are engaged and following instructions.
- Monitor students’ safety and well-being during classes and studio events.
- Event Coordination:
- Help organize and execute studio events, such as recitals, workshops, and open houses.
- Coordinate with instructors, students, and parents to ensure smooth event operations.
- Assist with costume fittings, stage setup, and other event logistics.
Qualifications:
- Passion for dance and a strong interest in working in a dance studio environment.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, email).
- Prior experience in a customer service or administrative role is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Bilingual
