Tire Technician
Qualifications:
- 1 year experience as a Tire Technician, commercial tire/trucks preferred for competitive pay. Looking for a dependable, reliable, experienced Technician.
Responsibilities:
- Perform fleet inspections on customer vehicles (all sizes), scrap tire analysis and other duties as required.
- Will have company Truck to drive for service calls, customer visits and tire installs.
- Write-up work performed on Service Tickets
- Perform service: mount, balance, rotate and repair work for customers as directed by Service Manager
- Responsible for safe operation of company vehicles including compliance with speed and traffic regulations.
- Ensure truck is adequately supplied with tubes, repair materials, and replacement tires before departing store location to handle service calls.
- Ensure that service truck, all tools and equipment are in good operating condition.
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections at the beginning of each workday and immediately report operating problems or mechanical defects to the Service Manager
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness (inside & out)
- Perform jobs always using proper and safe procedures.
- Use personal protective equipment according to regulations and policies.
- Maintain standards of cleanliness
- Maintain equipment in good working order.
- Notify manager immediately of defects.
Other:
- Be able to pass drug test for pre-hire.
- Any other duties as assigned.
- No relocation reimbursement provided.
Pay Ranges:
Tech #1: Experienced 1 year $25-$30 per hour depending on experience.
