Territory Account Manager
Supervisor: Sales Manager
Region: Midwest
States Include: New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, & Indiana.
Purpose of Position
The Territory Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and developing existing accounts as well as prospecting new opportunities to achieve quarterly/annual budgeted sales growth.
Responsibilities
· Provide technical support to our existing and prospective customers.
· Foster and maintain strong relationships with customers.
· Appointment setting via phone, on-site and/or video; customer meetings.
· Travel (overnights required) defined territory using our mapping software.
· Secure and communicate industry comparative analysis and market intelligence to senior level management. Provide quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
· Generating & follow-up quotes through our quoting system.
· Completing various on-line courses through our Learning Management System.
· Communicating/implementing price adjustments as they arise.
· Managing account details through CRMi and our Activity Tracking Application.
· Work collaboratively with the inside sales team.
Qualifications
Along with a good driving record, the following experience and education requirements are preferred for the Territory Account Manager position.
· A 4-year B.S.B.A. degree or equivalent; an advanced degree is a plus.
· Minimum 5 years of technical outside sales experience.
· Ability to effectively use Microsoft suite of products.

Reasonable Expectations
3 Months from Hire
· A general understanding of our product line through hands-on and mentor training.
· Completed introductory Learning Management System on-line coursework.
· Worked with branch operations to grasp how our system and processes works for deliverables to our customers.
6 Months from Hire
· Familiarity with your assigned territory and cultivating relationships with customers.
· Able to use our Activity Tracking Application and CRMi with relative ease.
· Understanding of customer trends through PBI (Power of Business Intelligence).
· Begin providing technical assistance to customers with the help of Tech Support.
1 Year from Hire
· Achievement of predetermined sales growth within the territory.
· A strong technical understanding of our vast product offering.
· Able to provide higher level analysis of territory performance, trends, SWOT analysis and present to senior management.
· Completed intermediate on-line courses within our Learning Management System.
· Created synergy with all internal departments to garner a cohesive working environment.
Compensation
· Quarterly commission opportunity with guaranteed base salary. Salary will be based on experience and demonstrated abilities.
