The Rising Workplace is seeking a certified ergonomic specialist or certified ergonomist with a background in physical or occupational therapy to provide full-time on-site and remote/virtual ergonomic services to office and industrial clients in the Charlotte area.
Applicants should have experience performing ergonomic assessments, consultation, and training.
Applicants should include a cover letter detailing their experience and interest in ergonomics.
Skills and Experience should include
- At least one certification in ergonomics
- Degree in related field from accredited university: Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy Assistant or Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Advanced training, credentials, or special interest in ergonomics
- Knowledge of ergonomic assessment tools (ex. D-2, RULA)
- Excellent communication skills with experience and comfort in public speaking and group trainings
- Proficient at generating individual and site reports
- Knowledge of current research, resources, and products related to workplace ergonomics
