Overview of the Role:
- Responsible for screening gynecologic cytology slides as needed, up to a predetermined limit
- Responsible for issuing reports for slides that are negative for intraepithelial lesions and for organisms on the screened slides
- Responsible for re-screening selected cases for quality control
- Slide preparation, staining, and imaging, as needed
- Oversees and reviews completion of quality control results, and takes remedial action when indicated.
- Works under the direction of the Lead Cytotechnologist.
- Schedule is flexible; Full or Part-time positions are available
Education and Experience:
- College degree in related sciences, plus one year of dedicated cytology training in an accredited school of cytotechnology. Must be registered as a cytotechnologist with ASCP.
- At least two years of experience as a certified cytotechnologist preferred

Pay: $25.00 - $31.79 per hour
