KIPP SoCal Public Schools is a nonprofit organization that operates 24 tuition-free, open-enrollment charter public schools, within 20 Local Education Agencies (LEA), educating more than 9,800 students and supporting 5,800 alumni to and through college and beyond.

You Should Apply If
You love the idea of teaching history and creating a rich curriculum that allows students to see themselves, their culture, and their communities represented in what they learn. We're looking for strong, credentialed or permit eligible teachers for this middle school position. The role is signing bonus eligible.
What You'll Do
- Teach 4 periods of social studies to approx. 27-32 student per class
- Use available curriculum and add your own design/creation ideas to what students will learn and do
- Teach the knowledge and skills, nurture the confidence and character, and inspire the passion needed for our students to achieve their goals, live their best lives, and positively impact the world
- Value and draw upon students’ experiences and backgrounds
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies based on the diverse needs of all the students that engage all students
- Develop and administer a variety of assessments to measure students’ growth towards goals and to monitor students mastery of the content standards
- Analyze informal and formal student assessment results and use this information to drive and inform instruction

Pay: $68,500.00 - $125,000.00 per year
