Sinai Residences is seeking a full time RN NURSE SUPERVISOR IN ASSISTED LIVING. Supervisory experience and Point Click Care proficiency are a must.
The Assisted Living Nurse Supervisor ensures each resident is provided with and receives the necessary care and services to attain or maintain the highest practical physical, mental and psychosocial well-being consistent with the residents’ comprehensive assessment and plan of care.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES:
People Management
- Supervise, the day-to-day activities of direct nursing care on the Assisted Living unit and Memory Care. Provide coaching on day-to-day tasks, under the direction of the Director of AL.
- Collaborate with the Assisted Living Director on day-to-day clinical activities
and strategies to assist with nursing teamwork flow to ensure residents highest practical well-being is achieved.
Resident Care
- Ensure that assessments, evaluations and monitoring of resident conditions are completed per state/federal regulatory guidelines and are documented in the EMR.
- Ensure that resident direct care plans are implemented and that resident needs are addressed
- Actively monitor units to ensure all residents are free from abuse, neglect, misappropriation of resident property, and exploitation.
- Assist with infection control; participate in infection control rounding, auditing and compliance.
- Make rounds with physicians and transcribe orders.
- Participate in, and as needed, lead Community meetings including but not limited to Resident Care Plans, Service Plans, Transitions, Weekly Risk Management, Resident Care Plans, and or other meetings as assigned.
- Ensure that physicians and families aware of changes in resident’s conditions including but not limited to diagnostic tests and change of conditions and document int the EMR.
- Respond to resident emergency call system as indicated (vigil system).
- Report to work, as needed, after working hours, in the event of an emergency.
Compliance
- Assist Director of AL, as needed, in ensuring that all ECC documentation is accurate and timely.
- Provide oversight and support to the Director of AL in other areas of compliance as needed. Actively participate in CMS survey activity with adherence to regulations.
- Assist in admission and discharge procedures as per the CMS guidelines.
- Assist with EMAR, TAR, pharmacy follow-up, radiology, laboratory and new physician orders daily to ensure regulatory compliance is being achieved.
Other Duties:
1. Attend in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
2. Perform other job duties as assigned by Director of AL.
3. Maintain the self‑respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each patient.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. RN currently licensed by the State.
2. At least 2 years nursing and geriatric experience required. Assisted Living and
Memory Care experience preferred.
3. Supervisory experience is required.
4. Point Click Care (EMR) proficiency is required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Frequent standing, stooping, bending, stretching, squatting; must be able to stand/walk for up to 70% of the work day; must be able to lift , transfer, turn and position residents weighing up to 125 lbs. unassisted, or with the assistance of one for a resident weighing over 125 lbs. May be subjected to offensive odors and combative behavior. Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally. May be exposed to communicable diseases including the HIV and HBV viruses. Must be able to work paying close attention to detail with frequent interruptions.
