Responsibilities: - Provide excellent guest service, ensuring a positive dining experience for all customers - Take customer orders and accurately enter them into the POS system - Handle cash and process payments in an efficient and accurate manner - Maintain a clean and organized work area, including dining tables, counters, and cash register - Assist with food preparation and plating as needed - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food orders - Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to increase sales - Follow all food handling and safety guidelines to maintain a safe dining environment - Adhere to sanitation and hygiene standards to ensure food safety Qualifications: - Previous experience in a restaurant or food service role is preferred but not required - Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide friendly and efficient service - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing - Knowledge of culinary terms and menu items is a plus Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
