Responsibilities:
- Decorate cakes and pastries according to customer requests and specifications
- Create visually appealing designs using various techniques such as piping, fondant, and icing
- Ensure cakes are properly baked and cooled before decorating
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines while handling and preparing food
- Package finished products for display or delivery
- Assist customers with cake selection and provide excellent customer service
Experience:
- Previous experience in food handling, cooking, or food preparation is preferred
- Knowledge of culinary techniques, pastry arts, and cake decorating methods
- Familiarity with using knives, baking tools, and equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong creativity and artistic skills to design unique cake decorations
