Job Summary:
The Client Implementation Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end implementation process for new clients. This role involves coordinating with various internal teams, understanding client needs, configuring solutions, providing training, and ensuring a smooth transition from sales to ongoing support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses excellent communication skills, and has a strong understanding of project management principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Onboarding:
- Lead the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a seamless transition and positive first experience.
- Understand client requirements and tailor implementation plans to meet their specific needs.
- Project Management:
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., Sales, Product, Support) to ensure all aspects of the implementation are executed efficiently.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and client expectations.
- Solution Configuration:
- Configure and customize solutions based on client specifications and requirements.
- Perform quality assurance checks to ensure configurations meet client needs and company standards.
- Client Training:
- Develop and deliver training sessions for clients to ensure they are proficient in using the product or service.
- Create training materials and documentation to support client education.
- Support and Troubleshooting:
- Provide initial support during the implementation phase to resolve any issues or concerns.
- Work with the support team to hand over ongoing support responsibilities post-implementation.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the implementation process.
- Gather feedback from clients to identify areas for improvement and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of implementation processes, configurations, and client interactions.
- Prepare regular status reports for internal stakeholders and clients.

Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, a related field or equivalency in experience.
- Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in client implementation, project management, or a similar role.
- Experience in Professional Employer Organizations or the understanding of benefits, payroll, and/or human resources is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and configure new software.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, JIRA).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
