Responsibilities:
For C Level Technician/Mechanic:
- Perform complex diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify issues and provide effective solutions.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repair tasks on various makes and models of vehicles.
- Utilize advanced tools and equipment to accurately diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
- Keep detailed records of all services performed and maintain proper documentation.
- Collaborate with service advisors and other team members to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology through training and professional development opportunities.
- Mentor and provide guidance to entry-level technicians as needed.
- Adhere to dealership safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
For Entry Level Technician/Mechanic:
- Assist senior technicians in performing diagnostic tests and repairs on vehicles.
- Learn to operate and maintain automotive tools and equipment.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Follow instructions and guidelines provided by senior technicians and service advisors.
- Develop technical skills and knowledge through on-the-job training and educational programs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
- Strive to meet productivity and efficiency goals set by the service department.
Qualifications:
For C Level Technician/Mechanic:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational or technical school program preferred.
- ASE certification or equivalent professional certifications required.
- Proven experience as an automotive technician/mechanic, with at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
For Entry Level Technician/Mechanic:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Interest in pursuing a career in automotive repair.
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior technicians.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
