Care Attendant Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with light housekeeping and create a comfortable living space.
- Assist residents with daily activities like walking, showers, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and orderly environment, including laundry and bed making.
- Be a crucial part of emergency response and resident calls for aid.
- Opportunity for training as a medication technician to enhance your skill set.
- Cross-training to work in assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written, English) with residents and staff.
- Genuine compassion and patience for senior adults.
- Home Health Aide or Nursing Assistant certification is a plus, but not required.
