Job Summary:
Central Moloney seeks a motivated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our team. This role supports the HR department in various administrative and operational tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience with Kronos/UKG or similar HRIS software and be eager to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the administration of HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Maintain and update HRIS databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Process new hire paperwork and conduct onboarding sessions.
- Assist with employee relations issues and guide HR policies.
- Generate HR reports and metrics as needed.
- Assist employees with benefits inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Support payroll processing and timekeeping functions using Kronos/UKG or similar systems.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve HR processes.
- Maintain employee files, including setting up new hire files, general filing, and termination files.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems such as Kronos/UKG; experience with is preferred.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
- Office environment within a manufacturing facility.
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and use a computer for extended periods.
