Retail Account Merchandiser, Seasonal (June-September)

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for promoting the company’s products by initiating and creating good working relationships with customers and our suppliers.
Position Offers:
- Tue – Sat Full time flexible schedule with early morning 6AM start time
- Seasonal June – September

Daily/Position Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned):
- Meets trucks & restock customer shelves and displays
- Maintain Horizon Beverage products at store locations
- Execute sales representative’s display requests (bookings) on a timely basis
- Properly account for work done i.e. cases, pricing, date etc. by using Company display software and integrated digital camera
- Assist with store shelf resets and promotional events
- Utilize various equipment such as a pallet jack, two wheeled hand truck, U-boat, case cutter, and price gun
- Build and maintain good rapport working with retail owners, managers, and clerks while keeping a professional attitude toward assignments
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required; Associates Degree or relevant/comparable work experience preferred
- Must demonstrate intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Skills/Requirements:
The successful candidate will maintain focus amidst occasional, but frequent interruptions and/or occasional, additional temporary assignments; will be able to organize work flow to accommodate timely and accurate completion of all projects, while managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing projects, and effectively using time. The ability to communicate in a professional, pleasant and confident manner is a necessity; must be accommodating, service oriented, self-motivated, perceptive and reliable.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record, a reliable motor vehicle with adequate insurance. This individual must have the flexibility to work weekends and requires frequently lifting, stacking, and carrying product up to 50 pounds, and must be able to properly handle a dolly with up to a 200-pound load.
