DAINTREE Rooftop Bar is a sophisticated space offering unparalleled views of the Empire State Building and the city lights. With floor-to-ceiling windows and an expansive outdoor terrace, guests enjoy a chic penthouse atmosphere complemented by craft cocktails and gourmet small bites to eat.
Our team at DAINTREE is looking to hire Front of House Support Staff (think: food runner, busser, barback) to help ensure our team can operate at a high level and provide our guests with the best experience possible! The ideal candidate is a team player, friendly, hard working, and willing to chip in where is needed.
Responsibilities Include:
- Read tickets and deliver food from the kitchen to the correct guest at the table
- Serve as a support system to Servers
- Communicate clearly and serve as the middle person between the front of the house and the kitchen
- Properly stock all plates, silverware, and condiments to par according to restaurant standards
- Communicate any supply shortages to management
- Make sure guests have everything they need before leaving the table
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the line, dining room floors
- Complete end of night closing side-work as per restaurant standards
- Ensure the bar is stocked with ice, liquor, mixers, wine and beer
- Communicate and provide support to Bartenders
- Prepare batched cocktails and garnishes
- Set up and breakdown the bar each shift
- Maintain a clean and organized area
- Help bartenders manage and track inventory
- Put forward your best effort to ensure our guests have an incredible experience every time!
What you must have:
- Minimum 2 years food running/barback experience in a high volume environment
- Passion for the service industry
- A friendly attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate and a team first mentality
- A professional appearance
- The ability to anticipate and accommodate the needs of guests and team members
- The desire to learn
- Organization and multi-tasking skills
