The Regional Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the direction and day-to-day operations of multiple company branches. We will establish, implement, and evaluate goals and objectives for home health services, ensuring they meet the standards of quality and align with the organization's philosophy.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of each branch to ensure overall success.
- Develop, recommend, and administer Organization policies and procedures.
- Employ qualified personnel and ensure adequate staff education and evaluations.
- Assist the branches in managing clinical teams and planning.
- Lead the team by exemplifying a company's Mission, Vision, and Values, and drive operations aligned core values.
- Ensure the accuracy of public information materials and activities.
- Implement strategic initiatives for growth, to ensure continuity of care, and to maintain exceptional patient outcomes. Assist with the evaluation of organizational performance through the performance improvement program, productivity, quarterly, and annual reviews.
- Represent the agency in the community, promote services, and engage with community resources.
- Interpret operational indicators to detect census changes adjusting staff levels, revenues, or expenses accordingly. Analyze data from performance markers to evaluate productivity, cost analysis, and quality care delivery.
- Promote home health referrals in the healthcare community and collaborate with business development teams.
- Consistently follow and uniformly enforce company policies and procedures to set an example for employees.
- Assess employees regularly to ascertain their understanding and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Use data to determine the quality and quantity of services provided.
- Oversee financial performance for each branch; manage the budget, oversee billing processes, and ensure EBITDA is met.
- Ensure the quality and safe delivery of home health services provided through the Organization.
- Contribute to the development of organization goals.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws regarding licensure and certification of organization personnel and maintain compliance with AHCA standards.
- Stay informed about changes in home health and share relevant information with appropriate organization personnel.
- Ensure the agency meets all Medicare and state regulations. Ensure each branch is prepared for on-site surveys and other external audits.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Position Qualifications:
- Home Health Care background required.
- Registered nurse with current licensure to practice professional nursing in the state of Florida
- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead, supervise and direct professional administrative personnel.
- Ability to handle high levels of stress in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent observation, organization, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Computers, Microsoft (MS) Suite, EMR, and technology preferred.
- Knowledge of business management, governmental regulations, and AHCA standards.
