Oracle Sales Executive
Please note this is a remote FTE position in North America, and we are only accepting candidates based in the United States and Canada.
In this role, you will be responsible for meeting and exceeding Buchanan Technologies’ booking quota of ORACLE Services and Solutions. You'll identify new business relationships through prospecting as well as cold calling potential clients who might need our services; then develop them into long-term sales opportunities that are high performing accounts with excellent customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Obtain sales objectives primarily through selling ORACLE Services and Solutions
- Develops an effective sales plan
- Provides solutions for prospect's needs
- Understand the Buyer
- Develops sales strategies that link prospect’s business drivers to ORACLE’s offerings and Buchanan’s capabilities
- Identify sales opportunities through direct prospecting, lead follow up, networking and partner relationships
- Drive the sales process through business discovery, opportunity qualification, needs analysis, product positioning, business case development, negotiation and close
- Understand the buying process and align resources needed to facilitate account penetration
- Consistently maintains a reasonable number of new weekly face-to-face / zoom prospect meetings
- Work with consulting team when implementation, integration, project management support is required
- Effectively demonstrates and presents ORACLE products and value proposition & Buchanan’s services and solutions based on ORACLE to qualified prospects
- Demonstrate and maintain a high level of knowledge about ORACLE’s products and services
- Develop and maintain relationships with ORACLE and other third parties to increase opportunities
- Respond to RFPs/RFIs, coordinating and organizing input from multiple sources within Buchanan
- Document daily sales activities in sales force automation tool, prepare accurate reports and forecasts, manage pipeline, and perform other tasks necessary to drive sales bookings and communicate activities to sales management
- Be an active team player both on the sales team and throughout Buchanan Technologies to help meet company objectives
- Effectively demonstrates and presents Buchanan’s ORACLE services and solutions to qualified prospects
- Accurately qualifies and prepares Leadership, Consultants and Services staff for customer demonstrations and presentations
- Provide feedback from field experience to internal cross-functional teams regarding product, selling, and competitive matters
- Shares input with other departments in preparing sales materials and technical publications
- Operates under moderate supervision
Position Requirements: Education, Experience & Training required
- Degree in a business or technical related area of study
- Minimum of 5 years overall technical sales experience with at least 3 years’ experience selling ORACLE ERP services and solutions
- Added value: Strong understanding of ERP Transformation Services, Cloud Engineering or Managed Services
Job Specific Specialized Knowledge & Skills
- Successful experience identifying, qualifying, and closing new business
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective business, sales, and marketing plans
- Demonstrated knowledge of software direct and reseller sales channels
- Strong knowledge of Industries which are known for leveraging ORACLE products
- Sales experience with Oracle products and solutions including the Oracle SaaS Cloud Applications such as the Oracle ERP, EPM, and HCM Cloud, Oracle WebCenter, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle PaaS and Oracle IaaS, Oracle Engineered Systems, and Oracle Database Software
- Proven Sales experience selling professional and managed services for customers running Oracle systems and solutions including Oracle Database, Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle SaaS Applications, Oracle SOA, Oracle Business Intelligence, Oracle Engineered Systems including Exadata, Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL), Oracle Java, Oracle WebLogic, and Oracle Middleware.
- Proven Sales experience selling Application managed services and Application integrations for customers running the Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle PeopleSoft, Oracle SaaS Applications, and other third party integrated applications.
- Proven Sales experience in selling Cloud implementation, migration, and managed services in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Demonstrated ability to accurately forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and achieve goals with minimal supervision
- Ability to perform in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Works under moderate supervision
- Interacts with consulting, marketing, finance, and external customers
- Oracle technical expertise a plus such as Oracle Application, Middleware, or Database Administration expertise
