### Job Title: Operations Shutdown Completions and Turnaround Outage Manager
**Reports To**: Senior Project Manager, Project Execution
#### General Description:
The Operations Shutdown Completions and Turnaround Outage Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, communicating, and closing complex, integrated Turnaround outages. This role involves managing work on gas turbines, pretreatment facilities, licensed liquefaction units, instrumentation and controls upgrades, and other complex projects. The Outage Manager leads a matrix team of internal and external resources to develop a logically integrated outage schedule, ensuring the successful completion of outage work safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires the development and monitoring of outage schedules, communication of outage status and exceptions, and tracking of scope changes and risks. The position adheres to the Venture Global Outage Management Procedure to ensure consistent planning, execution, and closure of outages, promoting safety, reliability, and efficiency.
#### Job Responsibilities:
- **Outage Management Expertise**: Possesses in-depth knowledge of industry best practices in outage management.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Demonstrates advanced LNG technical experience to resolve complex issues.
- **Decision Making**: Makes decisions on complex issues regarding the integration of project turnaround components, considering risk, safety, cost, and schedule.
- **Resource Integration**: Leads the integration of internal and external resources, identifying opportunities to develop integrated processes, tools, services, and techniques.
- **Outage Planning and Execution**: Plans and leads complex integrated plant outages, using independent judgment to evaluate variable factors.
- **Leadership and Mentorship**: Serves as a project/technical lead on medium to large outage projects, regularly coordinating work with professionals, technicians, and others. Trains and mentors employees on technical skills.
- **Collaboration and Problem-Solving**: Works with others to resolve significant issues, clarify or interpret complex information, and provide initial screening/negotiations.
- **Matrix Team Leadership**: Leads matrix organization teams, building, supporting, and developing strong working relationships within the group and with other corporate stakeholders, construction contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
- **Safety and Operational Excellence**: Drives a strong safety culture, environmental stewardship, and operational excellence, ensuring the delivery of a safe and operable plant while maintaining a license to operate.
#### Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business or Engineering.
- 10+ years of specialized experience, with in-depth knowledge across multiple functions, including LNG project outage management and plant maintenance/operations.
- Advanced technical experience in LNG, capable of resolving complex issues and functioning as an advanced contributor.
- Competence in making high-level decisions regarding project turnaround integration and overall outage tasks.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
**Location**: Based in Cameron, LA or Houston TX but MUST BE OPEN TO TRAVEL at the Calcasieu LNG site, with frequent business trips to operations facilities, project locations, contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
