Duties:
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Develop and create new menu items while maintaining consistency with existing recipes
- Manage inventory levels and ordering to ensure freshness and minimize waste
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Lead and mentor kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control, and menu planning
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food handling, and culinary techniques
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Proficient in menu development, recipe creation, and cost management
- Familiarity with fine dining standards and upscale hospitality practices
- Ability to manage shifts effectively, ensuring smooth service flow
