Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Scan items, ensure pricing is correct, and collect payments
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist customers with any inquiries or concerns
- Upsell products and promote current sales or specials
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure accurate order delivery
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with Clover POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations is required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly
- Basic math skills to accurately handle cash transactions
- Willingness to assist in the kitchen when needed
- Proven ability to upsell products and increase sales
