Deputy Program Manager / Mission Support Division Lead
GARUD is in search of a motivated, self-driven Program Manager that can serve ax both the deputy for the contract execution, and the primary POC for one of the organizations critical divisions to join our team supporting a critical Department of Homeland Security (DHS) client! The ideal candidate must have experience working with DHS, a passion for their work, be innovative, and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities & Duties

Primarily serves as the team lead in support of the Mission Support Division, assisting with all aspects of administrative, communications, data analysis, strategic planning, program management, and engineering support.

Assist the Program Manager in providing required team leadership, guidance, and program management vision; consult with senior leadership as needed in support of the MSD day to day operations.

Assist the Program Manager providing qualified and experienced personnel and shall provide all supervision to its personnel, ensuring all contract requirements are complete accurately and in a timely manner.

Direct the action of MSD support staff in executing Executive Secretariat actions such as correspondence, taskers, Congressional inquiries, and GAO/IG FOIA requests.

Assist in providing management oversight for personnel providing the following services: Program Management; Acquisition; Strategic Communications; Data Analytics; Business Operations; Budget and Financial Management; Executive Administrative Assistance; Records Management; Cost Estimating; and Integrated Master Schedule Analysis, Performance, Planning and Metrics.

Assist the government in implementing goals and priorities in the following areas: Administration; Program Management; Enterprise processes and procedures; Acquisition; Budgeting; and Cost Estimating/Integrated Master Scheduling.

Provide management, direction, administration, quality assurance, and leadership for executing all contractual requirements

Lead the identification, selection and implementation of tool sets to support Program Management functions

Provide required team leadership and guidance and overall program management vision in support of the day-to-day operations.
Required Educations, Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required.

Education: Bachelors’ Degree from accredited university.

Experience: Minimum 7 years’ of experience managing contract support operations

Clearance: Current DoD SECRET with the ability to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET

Demonstrated strong managerial experience organizing, planning, directing, and managing contractor staff.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (Desired)

DAWIA or DHS Program Manager Level III certified or equivalent

PMP Certified

Experience supporting an acquisition organization.
