Our Pro Shop team at Merion Cricket Club is looking for individuals who love to be around people and have an outgoing personality. Successful candidates will possess high levels of communication, tremendous organizational skills, a desire to meet people and a passion for learning. Open availability preferred.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing exceptional service to members
- Taking court reservations using the online court booking system
- Opening and closing the Pro Shop
- Organizing, filling, and maintaining sales floor
- Assist with monthly inventory counts
- Using the Jonas system for member purchases and inventory capture
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a must
- Excellent oral communication and listening skills
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Adherence to professional appearance standards & club policies
- Flexible schedule (evenings, weekends, holidays)
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a part time position that requires a minimum commitment of 8 scheduled hours per week. Flexibility is important. Shift assignments are discussed at the time of hire and should remain consistent within reason.
