As a lead cook, you will play a crucial role in menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Duties:
- Plan and create menus that meet the needs and preferences of our customers
- Inventory in kitchen and ordering products weekly
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and portion sizes
- Ensure all food is prepared and served in compliance with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with catering events as needed
-Help buss food and food run when needed- tips will be included in this position
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant or catering setting
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper sanitation procedures
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality food
