Our client, a leading automotive company, is seeking a Maintenance Tech to join their team.
The position is an onsite position where you would be expected to work on site in Simpsonville, KY.
Salary: $24.75 - $28.45 - DOE

Description:
The role of a Maintenance Technician is to participate in the Total and Preventive Maintenance (TPM) for all equipment and facilities. The main missions of the role are to:
- Install, repair and maintain all equipments and facilities
- Perform minor repairs to building fixtures, perform minor plumbing repairs, clean electrical fixtures, replace bulbs and do painting
- Analyse mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality
- Try out equipment after repairs, changeovers or extended downtime
- Record operational data, such as pressure readings, length of stroke, feeds and speeds for use in set-up and preventive maintenance records
- Review production schedule and, when equipment is not scheduled for production, perform scheduled maintenance
- Propose and implement continuous productivity and quality improvement actions for all facilities and process efficiency
- Give advice on technical specifications of a new equipment and alterations on existing equipment and facilities, making sure manufacturing, Health, Safety and Environment and maintainability requirements are met
- Set up requisition for supplies, equipment and facilities
- Participate in the management of the inventory of spare parts and consumables to eliminate downtime
- Keep up to date documentation related to maintenance
- Train operators on the safe operation of production equipment
- Maintain clean and sate working environment in line with company policy
- Adhere to all work rules and procedures
- Automation proficiency
Additional reponsibilities include:
- Clean / paint equipment, clean / seal floors, paint lines around equipment when line is down or when assigned
- Actively particpate in work teams
- Implement at least two improvement idea per month
- Dispatch trouble calls when required
- Other duties as requested
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Technical dipolima and/or journey man card
- At least 3 years of maintenance/engineering experience within a fast paced manufacuting enviroment
- Perform task of substantial variety/complexity which require an extensive knowledge of fabrication/processing techniques, tools, materials, machines and equipment
- Electrical wiring and mechanical skills
- Working knowledge of Quality systems and Health, Safety and Environmental skills
- Strong technical problem solving skills
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Satisfactory company work record, including attendance
- Successful completion of Faurecia's in-house training program
- Ability to follow instruction verbal and written - good math, language and reading skills required
- Good communication skills demonstrated by the ability to communicate with employees of all levels
