Your Role
At Grabber, you will spend time in our distribution warehouse and working with customers, products, and building awareness of how our products and services can satisfy their needs. We’re looking for someone who’s eager to answer phone calls and emails, key orders, help customers find the product they need, and be willing to assist in the warehouse. You should be capable to load and unload materials from trucks in the warehouse. The ideal candidate has experience working in a warehouse and is customer-service oriented.
POSITION SUMMARY: Handles customer service and purchase order processing. Also will assist in warehouse and other responsibilities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Handles orders that are called in. Includes; entering orders, looking up inventory, credit checks, customer quotes, product knowledge information, resolving problems, and building sales.
2. Supports the sales and service activities of several states within West region.
3. Keeps management aware of selling trends and customer satisfaction.
4. Committed to service excellence; Provide customer service information, problem solving (including explanations, alternatives and realistic time frame for solving), and follow up.
5. Assists customers that pick up product from the warehouse.
6. Assist with warehouse duties, from pulling orders, loading LTL carriers and monthly cycle counts.
7. May require some driving (delivery to customers).
SKILL, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
1. Good telephone etiquette along with good verbal and written skills.
2. Product knowledge and ability to find a reference.
3. Sales skills including ability to "Build" the order that is called in.
4. Computer skills - learn how to enter orders, look up inventory availability, be able to properly quote a customer, and check credit.
5. Two years previous customer service experience preferred.
6. Physically must be able to lift 60 pounds and work in a warehouse with materials.
7. Warehouse / Forklift experience helpful.
8. Ability to work alone.
9. Current Driver's License and Clean driving record
