Capitol Hill Senior Living is under new ownership and looking to building our team of founders! We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Assistant to join our team and contribute to the warm, compassionate, and caring environment we are known for. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily maintenance, repair, and efficient operation of all building systems and equipment.
- Coordinate and complete maintenance requests to ensure timely service in accordance with established quality standards.
- Assist with the execution of preventive maintenance programs to prevent breakdowns and malfunctions.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify safety hazards, maintenance needs, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the Maintenance Director in ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the coordination and preparation of community spaces for events and activities.
- Provide exceptional service to residents, family members, and guests by responding to requests promptly and with a friendly demeanor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in facilities maintenance is a plus.
- Previous experience in maintenance, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repair skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team.
- A commitment to delivering a high level of customer service and support.
- Flexibility to respond to emergency maintenance issues as needed.
