**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive IT Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical expertise and customer-focused mindset to deliver exceptional service and support to our clients. As an IT Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients receive exceptional technical support and assistance.
**Duties:**
- Monitor and address incoming support requests, both remotely and on-site.
- Provide desktop support services including imaging, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Install and troubleshoot various office peripheral devices such as printers, scanners, copiers, and camera systems.
- Assist end-users with technical issues encompassing Office applications, email, printing, browser problems, and software installations.
- Manage basic Active Directory tasks like user creation and modifications.
- Execute office reorganizations and moves as needed.
- Collaborate with external vendors regarding IT support tickets and ongoing projects.
- Support senior staff in tasks related to significant projects like software rollouts and reporting.
- Implement basic firewall changes under the guidance of senior team members.
**Qualifications:**
**Ideal Candidates:**
- Previous experience in consulting is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with clear communication abilities for interactions with clients.
- Capable of working effectively under pressure and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient troubleshooting skills with the discernment to seek help from senior team members when necessary.
- Demonstrated expertise in desktop operating systems including Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 7, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Fundamental understanding of computer networking concepts such as Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, etc.
- Detail-oriented with good spelling skills or the use of spell check tools.
- Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
**Requirements:**
- Reliable transportation for on-site visits.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Competitive pay commensurate with experience. A minimum of 3 years of business IT support experience is required for this position. This is not an entry-level role.
Location: On-site at our Newport Beach office and designated client sites.
Work authorization: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
